The applicant must obtain a Professional Valuation Report in writing from a Qualified Valuer registered with the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).

An applicant may engage a Certified Public Accountants (Practising) or an Immigration Consultant to issue a Report of Factual Findings to assist the applicant to demonstrate that he/she meets the requirements of Rule 2.1(b) of the Scheme Rules.

To qualify for admission under the Scheme, the applicant must have Net Assets to which he is absolutely beneficially entitled with a market value of not less than HK$6.5m net throughout the two years preceding his application. The applicant must have sufficient evidence of the assets or equity holding at minimum three points of time throughout the specified two years except for bank assets and securities. The three points of time should be evenly distributed throughout the specified two year period.
